A good shopping place for fresh ingredients with good price. Can't live without it in Messina 👍 They have vegetables, seafood, meat (pre-processed upon request), etc etc. Highly recommended to come early in the morning so the market is less crowded and you can choose stuffs yourself more comfortably.

The prices vary daily, but they're quite cheap compared to the supermarkets.
Normally, the prices per kilogram (as of Jan 2025) are:

Very busy. Nice atmosphere. I didn’t come to buy anything but just observe. It was a typical Italian fresh food market. Lots of yelling and bartending
Place in Messina where you can buy fresh fish, fruits, vegetables and meat with a really good price. In general ugly but really useful.
